I went to a private school. Our classrooms were very nice, pre-fab buildings. Almost trailers. Inexpensive to set in place. Most of the adults in the congregation did the work. I don’t know if they are still being used but as of 35 years ago, they were when I went back for a visit. Maybe by now….? Maybe not. They were quite sturdy and we had a nice ball field and track and playground. Handily right next to the church. Handicap accessible even in those days as one of our best teachers was in a wheelchair. Nice cafeteria which was in a brick and mortar building and it doubled as our community hall. The nearby public school was brick and mortar and multiple stories. Much better off. In spite of that, we got the better education. Go figure.
