In this scenario, I am a product of “Surplus America” – I still keep a couple of 1903 Springfields around, somewhat customized, and have a strong connection to the 1911A1 pistol. I think my daughter is more from the Internet Era than the Modern Tech Era – but that is for her thoughts, not mine.
