” Politicians are seen as untrustworthy by two-thirds or more of the populations in Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Peru, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Spain, and the United States.” And we keep electing them. There’s a lesson here if we look hard enough.
So let’s look at the trusted professions – at the top of the list are doctors (43%), research scientists (42%) and teachers (37%). Judges made 5% on the trustworthy scale, and attorneys scored right at zero – which is pretty good when you compare them with politicians (-48%) – that’s right, politicians owe the world points when it comes to trustworthiness.
